Today the girls football team played their semi final game of the RSK Cup against Little Ealing and were very excited to try to shake the semi final curse that has seemed to haunt the girls football team over the last 2 years. The girls got off to a quick start and had the Little Ealing defense under pressure straight from the off. All that pressure eventually paid off as Izzy finished a fine move to put us 1-0 up. Fielding continued to press for a second goal but Little Ealing held on and made it to half time still in the game. The girls knew a 1-0 lead wasn't good enough in this game as Little Ealing were very capable of getting a goal back at any point. After the break Fielding were pressing again and won themselves a corner. Lily delivered a great cross which was fumbled into the net by the Little Ealing keeper for our second of the day. Shortly afterwards, Alessia came into the game and got back to scoring ways with a neat finish to make it 3-0. Although the ball was still with Fielding for most of the play, some confusion at the back led to a Little Ealing freekick which was expertly smashed into the top corner of our goal to make it 3-1. After a little wobble Daisy then settled everyones nerves by scoring Fielding's fourth of the game to cement a 4-1 win. Fielding are through to the RSK Cup Final on Monday against St. Vincent's!
