Critical workers and vulnerable pupils
Are you a critical (key) worker?
Check the Government’s list.
During school closure in January we will be providing education in school for all pupils of critical workers and for those pupils who have an Education and Health Care Plan or are vulnerable.
These pupils will be educated in school in year group bubbles by one of the year group teachers. They will follow a similar timetable to those pupils who are completing remote education at home.
There are no limits on pupil numbers for these groups but we do need you to book your child’s place via MCAS. Sessions are from 8.30-3.30 and must be booked for every day to ensure consistency. There is no cost for these sessions. Once booked your child must attend.
To book, please go to the ‘clubs’ section of MCAS from 3pm Thursday 31st December. You will be able to see a new ‘Key Worker – Y(?)’ session available for you to book for your child. You don't need to select everyday as the system will do this for you. Bookings must be completed by Monday 4th January at 10am.
There will be no specialist clubs running during this time, however you can also book wrap-around care in the usual way, at the usual cost, if you need childcare before or after school.
