The PTFA have donated nine new Apple iPads to the school as part of an agreement set up directly with Apple UK.  We are lucky enough to have a parent who has worked closely with the PTFA over the last 18 months and has helped a number of fundraising projects over this period.

 

The arrangement allowed the PTFA to purchase the products from Apple, but importantly are then able to claim back the expense via the benefits site Benevity Causes Portal.  Last year the PTFA managed to claim over £8,000 worth of product.  

 

The new iPads will be used to loan out to families who have difficulty accessing computer devices for home schooling.  They will also be used within the school environment when homeschooling is not needed.
