PTFA Spooktacular Squash Sale

There was a mysterious queue outside the school gate on the first Saturday of half term - a huge number of parents and carers turned up to buy pumpkins and squashes from the school garden.

Star of the show was the creepy peanut squash, which as your children will tell you, turns into a witch at midnight.

The ghastly gourds sold out in just ten minutes - and the gates had to be closed. But generous souls carried on donating to the school, raising a total of £250.

Three cheers for the creative PTFA for finding unusual - and spooky - ways to raise money in these socially-distanced times.

And no prizes for guessing what your children will be sowing in the spring...
