Term Time Sessions match existing wrap-around childcare for the main school:
Sessions are flexible and can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis depending on our availability and the needs of each family, mixing and matching any combination of early morning, morning and afternoon sessions over a week.
Young children learn best when they are in a consistent routine. Once sessions have been booked and allocated they can only be stopped completely, reduced or changed with half-a-term’s notice, this must be in advance. Requests to increase sessions can be at any time. All changes and increases are subject to our availability.
For maximum flexibility, parents may drop off between 8am to 9am for the Morning session and between 1pm to 1.10pm for the Afternoon session. However, a full fee for each session will be incurred if dropped off after the start of the session or collected before the end of the session. The early session for breakfast is between 7.30am and 8am, at 8am the next session begins so breakfast will not be provided if you arrive after 8am. All sessions take place in the nursery environment with a dedicated nursery team, led by the Lead Teacher and Nursery Manager.
Sessions and fees are identical during 9 weeks of the school holiday's to term time. Holiday club sessions are flexible, may differ to your term-time pattern and will be available to book and paid for separately from term-time sessions, we have availability for all children who attend Fielding Nursery. Booking for all holiday dates are available in advance with immediate confirmation. Please be aware that holiday club fees must be paid before children attend.
Please provide a healthy packed lunch and snack for tea, you are welcome to provide food that needs to be heated if you would like your child to have a hot meal, please support us by labelling the boxes and providing heating labels if required. Fruit will be freely available during the day. Please remember Fielding is a 'nut free' school, please check ingredients in snack bars, breads, snack packs etc. as these can contain 'nut traces' or have been prepared in an environment where other products containing nuts have been prepared. Any food containing any traces of nuts will be sent home. Thank you for taking time to check.
Please note: Due to the increased demand for the nursery holiday club, we have had to introduce an ad-hoc fee for session bookings made after Friday at 12pm before the following week. As you know we have a legal duty to ensure that we have sufficient staffing levels, and with the increased demand for places we need to make sure that we have enough notice to put into place adequate staffing. Please see below the ad-hoc fee which will be applied on Friday's after 12pm before the following week.
