• Mathletics and Bug Club update

  Bug Club is a learning platform that supports reading and reading skills, and since its launch in November 2013 well over 2600 books have been read! Children can log on to www.bugclub.co.uk using the school id rr96 and their Fronter Username and password.

   

  Mathletics is now being used from Reception to Year 6, and since November 2013 nearly 500 certificates have been awarded. Pupils must earn at least 1000 points to get each certificate. Children can log on at www.mathletics.com using their unique Mathletics username and password.

• Rapid Number Recall

  We are continuing to develop our Mathematics curriculum, this term sees us introducing, 'Rapid Number Recall' a whole school stepped system to improve children's ability to use known mental maths skills at speed. Children from Reception to Year 6 will be introduced to this system this week during their maths lessons, more information to follow from Mr Chapman, Maths Curriculum Leader. Individual targets linked to Rapid Recall will be sent home by your child's class teacher.
