We are delighted to share our October edition, led by our newly appointed Year 6 Values Champions. This year, our Values Champions will once again take an active role in producing the newsletter, alongside leading a range of other exciting values-based projects across the school.
The purpose of the Values Newsletter is to continue raising the profile of values-based living and values in action across our school, led and shaped by the children themselves. Each month, the newsletter will highlight our whole-school value and provide ideas, reflections and practical ways for children and families to bring that value to life both in school and at home.
Our value focus for October is Resilience. Throughout this edition, you will find activities, discussions and suggestions to help children develop resilience, perseverance and a positive approach to challenges.
These newsletters sit alongside our existing values displays, assemblies and classroom learning, helping children reflect on what our values look like in everyday life and strengthening the connection between home and school.
Following the success of our Ripples of Kindness initiative last year, we are pleased to continue celebrating the caring, thoughtful and compassionate actions of our pupils. Families can continue to nominate their children to recognise acts of kindness that take place beyond the school gates. Children nominated through the initiative will be celebrated in our newsletters and assemblies throughout the year.

We hope you enjoy reading this first edition of the year. All future newsletters will be available in the parent section of our website within the Family Life resources.
