Fielding Nursery offers excellent childcare at competitive rates, with access to government funding to help reduce costs for working families.

Payment Information
- Fees are paid monthly in advance (August–June).
- Invoices must be settled within 14 days.
- Any ad-hoc bookings must be paid before attendance (added to your child's cash book)
- Nursery Holiday Club bookings must be paid for before attendance (added to your child's cash book)
- Government funding is available to reduce the cost of fees.
- A number of government funded-only hours are available.
Funding Options
You may be eligible for:
- 15 Universal Hours (available to all children from the term after their 3rd birthday)
- 15 Additional Hours (for eligible families)
- Childcare Vouchers
- Tax-Free Childcare
Note: Funding rules apply to term-time attendance only. See our Terms & Conditions for details.
Additional Costs
- Early Morning Sessions: Can be paid using vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare. These sessions are not covered by government funding.
- Ad-hoc Sessions: Available for emergencies (e.g. jury duty, medical appointments). Higher fees apply, and these sessions are not covered by government funding and must be paid before attendance (added to your child's cash book).
- Holiday Club: Sessions are not covered by government funding and must be paid for before attendance (added to your child's cash book). See our Holiday Club page for details.

Government Funding at Fielding Nursery

At Fielding, we offer outstanding early years' education to all children attending the Nursery. We are proud to have a teacher-led education. We offer full and part-time places in our ‘all-inclusive service’. All enhanced activities, meals/snacks/milk, wipes are included in our ‘all-inclusive service’ price. However, you can choose to opt your child out of the ‘all-inclusive service’. Please speak with the Nursery Manager or Nursery admissions for further information and the options available.

Government funded-only places are offered subject to availability, at the time of application and the following the Nursery admissions criteria:
How a Funded-Only place works at Fielding Nursery
Sessions are offered based on availability at the time of place offer and will be offered in the combination below.
- Standalone 15 hrs Funding over 38 weeks: 570 hours per annum
2 x pm sessions 1pm-6pm, Monday & Friday plus 1 x am session, Friday 8am-1pm
- Standalone 30 hrs Funding over 38 weeks: 1140 hours per annum
5 x pm sessions 1pm-6pm, Monday to Friday plus 1 x am session, Friday 8am-1pm
Government funding covers a limited number of hours and standard Early Years Foundation Stage provision.
