On Friday 25th September, Fielding took our boys' performance team to Featherstone High School to compete in the Featherstone tournament.

The boys were extremely lucky as they got to be the first group to play on the new state-of-the-art, UEFA approved 3G pitch. In our group, we were drawn against Durdens Park, West Acton, Three Bridges and Acton Gardens. We lost our first game 1-0 to West Acton and the boys were extremely unlucky as they dominated the majority of the game but were unable to take our chances. After reflecting and regrouping, we went into the next game confident and determined to rectify the previous result and they performed brilliantly to win the game 2-0. We finished the group in second place, winning 3 and losing one, allowing us to progress into the Quarter-Final.

In the Quarter Final, we were drawn against Derwentwater and unfortunately, we lost 3-0. The boys played superbly throughout the tournament and showed resilience, respect and reflection and we now look forward to the season ahead.
