The final round of the Super League was a day to remember for the girls' football team as they faced off against the top seven schools in the league. After an impressive run of results in the earlier rounds, the team earned their spot in this prestigious competition, where the stakes were high and the competition was fierce.
The day began with excitement and anticipation, as the girls knew it would be a highly competitive day. With a mixture of determination and enthusiasm, they took to the pitch ready to show what they had been working so hard for.
With 3 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses, the girls ended the Super League final round with their heads held high, having played the best teams in the league. The competition was fierce, but the team’s performances were a testament to their hard work and determination throughout the tournament. Araiya (5P) continued to add to the scoresheet, Amy (6S) scored her first goal of the tournament and Bea (5H) successfully scored a hat-trick! Let us not forget the remarkable skill and determination displayed by the rest of the team!
While there were moments of disappointment, the team’s ability to bounce back, support each other, and showcase their footballing abilities made this a memorable and proud experience. A massive congratulations and well done to all members of the team!
