Staffing changes next week due to Year 6 France trip

Next week, beginning Monday 7th July, our Year 6 children will be heading off on an exciting residential trip to France, a much-loved tradition and a highlight of their final year. These trips offer so much more than just time away from school; they’re a chance for our pupils to build independence, experience new cultures, and make lasting memories with their friends and teachers.

Trips like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and support of staff from across the school. We’re incredibly grateful to the staff members, many from other year groups, who are giving their time and energy to ensure the children have an unforgettable experience.

As a result, your child may be taught by a different member of staff during this time.

The following changes have been made:

  • Ms Gleeson will teach 3H, Mr Ahmed's class
  • Mrs Tate will teach 4P, Mr Lewis's class
  • Mrs Manani will teach 4F, Mrs Clark's class
  • Mrs Murphy will teach 5S, Mr McConnachie's class
  • Mrs Bhatti will teach 5P, Miss Abed's class
  • Ms Rahim will teach Dragonflies, Mrs O'Neill's class

Other changes

  • Pupils across the school will not have French lessons.
  • Mrs Manani and Mrs Murphy's before and after school homework clubs will not be taking place.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work together to provide these valuable opportunities for all our pupils.
