Defeat in PEAL Shield

On Friday 29th November, our boys suffered defeat against St Marks in the PEAL Shield.

Fielding took an early lead 5 minutes into the game with a fantastic effort from James (6P) striking the ball low into the bottom corner. Unfortunately, we were not able to maintain possession as much as we would have hoped, which allowed St Marks to grab two goals to take the lead.

Coming out for the second half, the team knew the game was not over but would have to work hard to turn the game around. Despite some good efforts, we were unlucky not to take our chances and St Marks were able to score on the break, making it 3-1.

We were disappointed after the defeat but will use this as a learning moment and after some reflection, we now have our focus completely on our next game.

Well done to all the boys for their efforts.

Final Score: 1 - 3
