Today, Fielding's Years 5 & 6 Girls football team faced Holy Family in the Ealing Girls Cup final and emerged victorious with a 2-0 win.

 

The match was off to an exciting start with two brilliant goals from Flo G (6S). The first goal came from a cross by Coco (5P), and the second was beautifully set up by Qamara (5S) with a series of quick passes. By half-time, Fielding was leading 2-0.

 

In the second half, Holy Family ramped up the pressure and made several attempts on goal. However, Adelaide's outstanding performance in goal ensured a clean sheet. Adelaide, who was also honoured last night for conceding only one goal in the girls' football league, played a crucial role in our victory. We will greatly miss her next year when she moves on to high school.

 

This was a great victory and our last game for this academic year. If you daughter wants to be part of the school team, keep an eye out for trials.
