This Saturday’s PTFA Summer Fair is set to be a scorcher – and not just because of the weather! In celebration of Fielding Primary School’s 70th anniversary, the PTFA has pulled out all the stops to make this year’s event extra special.
Alongside family favourites like Laser Tag, Bouncy Castle, Bottle Tombola, Spin To Win, Splat The Rat, Crafts, Jewellery-making and Cactus Toss, there’s an array of delectable food and drink – including a BBQ and bar, Thai food, samosas, ice cream and a Limoncello bar!
And, because it wouldn’t be a special celebration without a good old singalong, from 12.00pm on the Fielding Main Stage, there will be a number of incredible music acts including the school choir, Busker Extraordinaire Mr McEvoy and our very own 70th Anniversary Parents Band “The Constellations” - not to be missed!
In addition to being a fun-filled day, the Summer Fair is one of the main fundraising events in the PTFA calendar – hoping to raise over £10,000. In the past academic year alone PTFA funds have helped support the recent Key Stage 1 Library upgrade, class trips, the forthcoming Kitchen Garden refurbishment and much more.
So please do come and join in the fun and games and support the PTFA.
