Excitement is building in anticipation for Years 1,3 and 5 as poet Kate Wakeling will be visiting Fielding on Tuesday 25th June. She will be introducing Performance Poetry to Year 1 by performing some of her poems and then running workshops with each Year 3 and Year 5 class to support their current focus on Performance Poetry. She will be giving them an insight in to how to write poetry and top tips on how to perform poetry, before working with them to produce a group piece.

Kate will be signing and selling her poetry books at the front of school from 3.30pm, or in the Key Stage 1 library if there is inclement weather.
