On Monday 5th February, our Year 5 & 6 Girls Performance Football team played their second round of fixtures for the Featherstone Girls Football League.
During our first round we played 5 games we won 3, and drew 2. Although, we didn't lose any games we simply didn't score enough goals to secure a high position. Unfortunately, this meant after the first round we had finished 6th place. This wasn't the result we were hoping for particularly as the team were dominating other schools in the Ealing Girls Cup and have gone through the quarter finals.
The format for this league is 7-aside games that last 10 minutes with no half time. The girls came prepared and set pieces had been put in place to score early goals.
