11 - 0 Victory to the Year 5 & 6 Girls Football against Mount Carmel

Today was the first time that the Year 5 & 6 Girls team had played on the grass. In a spectacular display of skill and teamwork, the Year 5 & 6 Girls football team emerged victorious by defeating local rivals, Mount Carmel, with an impressive 11- 0 score line.

 

Right from the kickoff, the girls displayed exceptional ball control and dominated possession by putting pressure on Mount Carmel's defense. The goal-scoring spree began early in the first half, with Fielding's strikers Flo G (6S), Qamara (5S), and Coco (5P)  showcasing clinical finishes in the back of the net.

 

The teamwork and coordination amongst Fielding Girls team was evident throughout the match, as they seamlessly connected passes, moved dynamically across the pitch, and effectively utilised set pieces. The midfielders Daisy (5P), Alice (5S) and Darcy (6P) orchestrated the game with strategic passes, while the defenders Lois (5P), Miral (5H), Emily (6S) maintained a solid backline, denying Mount Carmel any opportunities to counterattack.

 

Fielding's goalkeeper Adeliade (6S) demonstrated remarkable skill and agility, making crucial saves to keep a clean sheet. Mount Carmel struggled to break through Fielding's resilient defense and found it challenging to contain the relentless attacks from their opponents.

 

As the match progressed, Fielding continued to dominate, adding to their goal tally with a series of well-executed shots. The final whistle blew with Fielding Primary securing a resounding 11-0 victory, showcasing not only their individual talents but also their ability to function cohesively as a team.

 

This convincing win solidifies Fielding position in the Ealing Girls Cup. It is safe to say that we are going through to the quarter finals.
