Celebrating a School Hero: Ms. Dani Lynch, Fielding’s Inspiring Music Teacher

As a governor board at Fielding Primary School, we are constantly impressed by the dedication and creativity of our teaching staff. Yet, even within such a strong team, one teacher has recently stood out for her extraordinary contribution to our children’s education and enrichment: our music teacher, Ms. Dani Lynch. In the past month alone, Ms. Lynch has received recognition across the borough, having been nominated as a School Hero in Around Ealing. Parent Nicholas Chapman summed up what so many of us see every day:

“She creates opportunities to get involved in music unheard of in most state primary schools, connecting many pupils with Ealing Music Service for instrument lessons, running a vibrant school orchestra, leading a musical theatre club, and making weekly music lessons fun and rewarding for every child in the school. She nurtures individual talent and makes music accessible to everyone. Ms. Lynch is a force of nature, fizzing with a love of music and children that mean they will remember her forever.”

This nomination was richly deserved. But what is most inspiring is that Ms. Lynch’s work goes far beyond the classroom. She has created remarkable opportunities for Fielding pupils to perform on some of the country’s most prestigious stages. Imagine being just 10 or 11 years old and singing at the Royal Albert Hall or performing at the O2 Stadium in front of 20,000 people - those are memories that will last a lifetime.

These experiences are not just about the music. They build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a sense of pride that children carry into every part of their lives. For many families, they also open doors to musical experiences that would otherwise be out of reach.

As governors, we know that schools thrive when teachers go above and beyond. Ms. Lynch embodies that spirit. Her passion and commitment are giving our pupils extraordinary opportunities and setting an example of what education at Fielding is all about: making learning joyful, inclusive, and ambitious.

On behalf of the governing body, I would like to say thank you to Ms. Lynch for her vision, her energy, and the unforgettable experiences she continues to create for our children. Fielding Primary is a richer, more vibrant school because of her work.   Nolan O'Connor, Parent Governor
