We are excited to share with you the very first edition of our Values Newsletter, created by our newly appointed Year 6 Values Champions. Over the past few weeks, they have been working hard behind the scenes to put this project together, and we are so proud of what they have achieved.
The aim of the Values Newsletter is to raise the profile of values-based living (or values in action) across our school, led and driven by the children themselves. Each month, the newsletter will focus on the school’s value of the month for KS1 and KS2, with ideas and reflections to help bring our values to life both in school and at home. A special section is included to support families in exploring the value together.
This exciting new resource will sit alongside our existing values posters and classroom resources, enriching lessons and providing further opportunities for children to reflect on what our values mean in practice.
For our families with children in the Early Years, please note that you are following a different values cycle, but we will be developing projects for you in the future. In the meantime, you are very welcome to dip into the newsletter and use any parts you find helpful.
We hope you enjoy reading the October edition, which you can access below. You can also access all future newsletters in the parent section of our website - in the resources that support family life.
