Fielding Song

What a brilliant musical spring term we have had! A huge congratulations to our Year 6 pupils from 6H – Aliza, Bea, Rebecca, Jessica and Emily A, who won the Fielding Song Competition. We have all been enjoying singing this uplifting, values-based song throughout the school.
Well done, girls – fantastic achievement!

🎨 New Wall Art

Mrs Haines has been tirelessly designing new wall art around the school. We returned after the holidays to a stunning musical timeline displayed outside the Music Room, which has amazed both children and adults alike.

🎼 Curriculum Music

Curriculum music has been thriving across all year groups, with pupils building strong musical knowledge and skills.

• Year 4 have been composing and producing Hip-Hop tracks. Stand-out performances came from Riley and Bella (4P) – excellent work! 
• Year 6 have been learning about the pentatonic scale and its use in Chinese classical music. They composed their own Chinese Lantern pieces, with a particularly outstanding composition from Laila, Namhom, Amelia, Ameira (6H) – fantastic! Please take a listen to both pieces below.
