PTFA Contributes Over £68,000 to school

At the latest PTFA meeting (17 April), it was confirmed that the association continues to make a significant impact across the school, raising around £40,000 so far this academic year and contributing over £68,000 towards key initiatives.

Recent spending has included £17,000 on new Chromebooks, £17,000 on playground improvements, £10,000 heat mitigation measures, whilst continuing to fund curriculum resources and enrichment activities such as forest school and music. With further contributions planned - including support for school trips, Year 6 leavers and upcoming events like the summer circus - the PTFA expects to have £20,000–£30,000 available for new projects.

Looking ahead, discussions focused on future funding priorities and ways to further enhance pupils’ experience, including improvements to playground spaces, additional music facilities and more equipment for younger year groups. The PTFA also agreed immediate funding for new play equipment and storage, while continuing to plan community events such as the Summer Fair (4 July) and Happy’s Circus (13–14 June). Parents are encouraged to get involved - even volunteering a small amount of time can make a big difference in supporting these events and the wider school community..
