Fielding took our Year 5 & Year 6 tennis squad to Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub to compete against 10 primary schools in the Ealing Mini Red Tennis tournament. Each child played a single game against an opponent from the opposition school, with the final score of all matches being added together. 

Fielding were drawn against Hambrough, Selbourne, Mount Carmel and West Acton in the group stages, winning all four games in a spectacular manner. Moving into the knockout stages, we were drawn against Acton Gardens in the Quarter-Finals, Derwentwater in the Semi-Finals and finally playing Little Ealing in the final, winning 5-1 in games.

The children displayed excellent skill and consistency, controlling matches from start to finish. Their determination, focus and positive attitude proved key as they went through the entire competition without a single loss, which highlighted a fantastic achievement and well-deserved victory for the whole team.
