On this day, children will spend time in their new classrooms, meet their new teachers and begin to familiarise themselves with the expectations of their new year group. 
This is often an exciting day but we know that some children may be a little nervous. Staff will be on hand throughout the day to support and reassure all pupils and make this a positive experience for everyone.

Attendance Expectations

Move Up Day is a key part of the school calendar and all children are expected to attend. 
If your child will be leaving Fielding and going to a different primary school in September, they should attend school as normal on this day. Move Up activities will only take place in the morning. The remainder of the school day will follow the usual timetable.
