Nursery Fees

Affordable, High-Quality Education & Childcare for Working Families

Fielding Nursery offers excellent childcare at competitive rates, with access to government funding to help reduce costs for working families.

We have studied our budget this year as we want to help and support our families financially. We have decided not to increase our fees for September 2026, which is fantastic for our families joining Fielding Nursery in September.

Government Funding at Fielding Nursery

  • At Fielding, we offer outstanding early years' education to all children attending the Nursery and are proud to have a teacher-led education. We offer full and part-time places in our ‘all-inclusive service’. The 'all-inclusive service' is where you will pay fees on top of your government funding for meals/snacks/milk and wipes. The fees for meals/snacks/milk and wipes are highly competitive and excellent value for money. During each five-hour session, your child/ren will receive a nutritious balanced meal, plus snacks. There are milk options such as cows, oat & soya to suit their likes and dietary needs. Wipes are also a feature for those little toileting accidents or just freshening up their hands and face.

  • We offer a rich and vibrant early years' curriculum at no additional cost to parents. We buy-in the Nutfield NELI pre-school early language programme to enhance your child's language skills. Also included is our exciting yearly on-site animal visit, which is kindly paid for by Fielding's PTFA, another wonderful opportunity for the children to widen their knowledge and understanding.

  • What’s included in our ‘all-inclusive service?
  1. Meals, Snacks, Milk, Wipes
  2. NELI Pre-school Early Language Programme
  3. Listening Skills, Phonics & Read, Write Inc Reading Scheme
  4. Forest School
  5. Singing/music Session
  6. In the Night Garden children’s event
  • How a 'Funded-Only' place works at Fielding Nursery
  • Government-funded-only places are offered subject to availability at the time of application and following our nursery admissions criteria: Sessions will be offered in the combination below. However, if we are unable to offer the sessions in the combination below due to availability, we reserve the right to offer the sessions we have available.

  1. Standalone 15hrs Funding over 38 weeks: 570 hours – Three afternoon sessions: 1 pm-6 pm, between Monday and Friday
  2. Standalone 30hrs Funding over 38 weeks: 1140 hours – Five afternoon sessions: 1pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, plus one morning session of our choice.

Government funding covers a limited number of hours, 15 or 30 only; you are unable to request additional hours under this model.

  • You can choose to opt your child out of the ‘all-inclusive service’ and receive a 'Funded Only' place, which means that meals, snacks, milk, wipes will NOT be offered to your child. You will need to provide a nutritious, balanced, packed lunch or tea that aligns with the expectations of school.
  • We are a nut-free school – no nut products, including spreads like Nutella, aim for a balanced, low-sugar, low-fat meal. Any food items that may contain nuts will be sent home.
  • Please note that we are unable to heat or fridge any food that you send in a packed lunch/tea. Wipes will also need to be provided.
  • Please speak with the Nursery Manager or Nursery Admissions for further information and the options available.
