At Fielding Nursery, children wear a simple, practical uniform that reflects our high standards and sense of community.

Required Uniform

• Royal blue V-neck sweatshirt or cardigan with Fielding logo
• Royal blue sports T-shirt with white Fielding logo

• Plain grey Jogging bottoms
• Plain grey Leggings

Comfortable shoes/trainers (no open-toe shoes, sandals, crocs, high heels, or roller shoes)

Optional Items

• Plain grey school-style skirt or pinafore
• Blue & white gingham dress (Summer term to Autumn half-term)
• Grey School-style shorts
• Wellington boots (for wet or snowy weather)
• Warm coat, hat, scarf, and mittens in colder months
  • Tip: Attach mittens with strings through coat sleeves to avoid loss.

Pre-loved uniform

Pre-loved uniform is available for sale through the PTFA at main events such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs and at the Pre-loved uniform shop on the school site. The Pre-loved Uniform shop is located between reception classrooms and the sports hall. Opening times:

Important Reminders

• Label all clothing and footwear clearly.
• Encourage children to care for their belongings.

Hair & Jewellery

• Hair should be neat and tied back if long. No extreme styles or colours.
• No make-up or nail polish.
• Only small stud earrings, analogue watches, or religious items may be worn.
  Smartwatches and other jewellery are not allowed.

Additional Items for Nursery

• Water bottle (only water, no juices)
• Bag including spare clothes
• Suncream – children apply themselves (labelled with their name)
