If you use Gmail, please change your spam / junk settings to successfully receive email messages from us.
Last week, some parents told us that they were not receiving email messages from us. We narrowed this down to emails sent from one of the school's email servers to Gmail and Yahoo parent accounts. Our technicians have told us this is a known issue with London Grid of Learning's email servers and Gmail.
For the technically minded, our technicians have made changes to our DMARC and DKIM settings on our DNS record for the fielding.ealing.sch.uk domain. This may resolve the issue and is all we can do for the moment.
London Grid of Learning technicians explain, "We are aware that some emails sent via LGfL MailProtect continue to be delivered to the Spam/Junk folder for certain Gmail recipients.
"We currently have an active case open with Google and are continuing to pursue updates through the appropriate channels.
"In the meantime, the most effective step affected recipients can take is to continue using Gmail's "Report not spam" option for any legitimate messages that are incorrectly delivered to their Spam/Junk folder. This feedback can help Gmail recognise that future messages from the domain are legitimate and may assist in improving email delivery.
"We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this issue and will provide further updates as soon as additional information becomes available."
Fielding's parents who use Gmail are encouraged to update your spam settings so that messages from @fielding.ealing.sch.uk are delivered to you.
Our e-mail messages sent from our main Bromcom e-email server are not affected.
