After 10 superb years of dedicated service, we will soon be saying goodbye to Karen Esprit, Childcare & Clubs Manager, as she leaves her role to begin an exciting new chapter in her life. While we will greatly miss her, this is a positive decision made by Karen as she looks forward to new opportunities and experiences. We are delighted for her as she embarks on this next stage of her journey. Karen leaves on Friday 18th December.
Karen has been a valued member of the Fielding team for the past 10 years and has made an exceptional contribution to school life. During that time, she has led and managed the significant growth of our wraparound childcare provision and specialist clubs programme, helping to create one of the widest and most successful enrichment offers in the local area. Hundreds of pupils have benefited from the opportunities, experiences and friendships that Karen's work has made possible.
Karen has always been passionate about ensuring that every child feels included and able to participate. Her commitment to supporting our disadvantaged pupils and those with special educational needs and disabilities, working closely with families, and creating a genuinely welcoming environment, has helped shape the inclusive culture that is such an important part of Fielding today.
More recently, Karen has overseen further improvements to our childcare and clubs offer, including strengthening staffing, responding thoughtfully to feedback from families and continuing to improve the quality and accessibility of provision.
On behalf of pupils, parents, governors and colleagues, I would like to thank Karen for her dedication, care and service to the Fielding community. We wish her every success and happiness for the future.
Karen’s last working day with children will be Friday 18th December.
