Values Newsletter - November

We are pleased to share the November edition of our Values Newsletter, created by our Year 6 Values Champions.

The purpose of the Values Newsletter is to continue raising the profile of values-based living and values in action across our school, led and shaped by the children themselves. Each month, the newsletter highlights our chosen school value for KS1 and KS2. This month, our focus is Empathy.

Inside this edition, you will find ideas, reflections and practical suggestions to help bring empathy to life both in school and at home. A special section is also included to support families in exploring and practising empathy together.

These newsletters sit alongside our existing values displays and classroom resources, enriching learning and providing further opportunities for children to reflect on what our values look like in everyday life.

This edition also marks another month of celebrating our Ripples of Kindness nominations. Once again, we were delighted to read about the many children who have shown kindness, compassion and empathy towards others. Thank you to all parents and carers who have taken the time to nominate their children and share these wonderful stories with us.

The Ripples of Kindness initiative will continue throughout November. If you notice your child showing empathy, kindness or consideration towards others this month, we would love to hear about it. Please follow the link below for further information about how to make a nomination. All nominated children will be celebrated in the next edition of the newsletter and during our Values assemblies.
