Ramadan has now started for our Muslim families. This means it is likely to end on 30th March. Therefore Eid will be 31st March. School will be closed on 31st March, not 28th March as previously published.
School will be open as normal for all children on Friday 28th March.
Please know that changing the school closure date is a rare occurrence and not a decision we take lightly. In addition to enabling our Muslim families to celebrate Eid with their families on the 31st March, a large proportion of our staff will also be celebrating Eid. The impact of staff absence on this day would make it difficult for the school to operate effectively.
We strive to accommodate the diverse cultural and religious needs of our community while ensuring the smooth operation of the school. To avoid this situation in the future, we will add occasional days as provisional dates to the term dates and confirm them as soon as we are able to.
The EMS drumming concert has now been rescheduled from Friday 31st at 9am.
1H gardening will be rescheduled, we will let you know the date as soon as we are able to. We apologise for any inconvenience these changes may have caused.
