The annual PTFA AGM will take place this Tuesday, 8 October at 8.30-9.30pm in the school Sports Hall. The AGM is always a relaxed evening and a great way to meet new people and officially welcome this year’s intake of new Fielding parents and carers.

You’ll hear all about some of the projects the PTFA has funded, a first look at the calendar of events for the next 12 months and we always love to hear new ideas for fun fundraising activities and new ways that PTFA funding can help enrich the school.

We ask that a class rep from each class attend the meeting if they can, but any parent/carer is welcome to attend. We rely on volunteers to run the PTFA and the majority have full time jobs. Every year we encourage new people to join the team - it’s the mix of new faces alongside long-standing, experienced members, that brings fresh ideas and energy to this group who are dedicated to raising funds for the school and, at the same time, enhancing the rich culture and sense of fun and community among Fielding pupils and their families.

If you believe in helping enrich the education of our children and have even a small amount of time (30mins a week), we would love to hear from you. And, at the AGM we also appoint our officials – this year we are on the lookout for a brand new Treasurer and Secretary. Could this be you?
