Fielding took a team of 40 children from Years 5 and 6 to Berkley Playing Fields in Greenford for a cross-country event.

 

The runners were divided into four races: Year 5 girls, Year 5 boys, Year 6 girls, and Year 6 boys, with each race covering 1.5km.

 

Every pupil in our team completed their race, with many appearing to achieve excellent times.

 

We are particularly proud of Euan (6P), who secured 3rd place in the Year 6 boys' race, and Bea (5H), who came 4th in the Year 5 girls' race, both among approximately 150 runners. This is a remarkable achievement for Fielding, and we hope to soon receive confirmation that our pupils have been selected to represent Ealing at the London Youth Games.
