On 1st May, many parents who have children with a special educational need and/or disability (SEND) attended a parent information session with school and Local Authority Leaders and the chair of the Ealing parents and Carer Forum.  Parents had the opportunity to ask questions and start to think about ways parents and school can work together to better meet the needs of our pupils with SEND. Following on from the success of this meeting we will be  holding our next parent session on Friday 21st June at 9am. In this meeting will will be continuing the conversation on the themes we starting to unpick on the 1st May:

1. School events and how to make these more accessible,
2. Communication, who, what and when,
3. Resources & staffing sharing of best practice and creative ideas.
4. EHCPs and the annual review process.
