Year 3 children had an amazing night under the stars camping on the school field. They hoisted the flag, erected tents, toasted marshmallows, sang camp-songs, ate bugs, made hot chocolate, drilled pendants, fried pancakes, made shelters, played Kinball and much much more... What an action packed adventure full of memories that will last a long time.
Children demonstrated resilience with the weather and showed empathy towards each other. They respected all of the adult helpers and activity leaders, which made adults very proud.
Their empathy towards each other showed what great children they are - supporting one another and helping people to stay resilient. They showed the values to a high standard.
So as the camp came to a close and we took down the flag for 2024 - Year 3 will now be ready for the next residentials in Year 4, 5 and 6. Exciting times ahead!
