Year 4 Girls Football team Prep Match vs. Holy Family for London Games

The Year 4 Girls Performance Football Team from Fielding Primary School took on Holy Family in a lively match marked by determined play and spirited efforts.

 

Round 1 saw both teams battling evenly, resulting in a hard-fought draw as neither side could break the deadlock.

 

In Round 2, Fielding Girls faced a setback as Holy Family managed to secure a 2-0 victory, displaying their strength in attack.

 

Despite Holy Family's dominance in possession during Round 3, Fielding Girls demonstrated resilience and determination. In a thrilling conclusion, Bea (4H) scored a last-minute goal, narrowing the scoreline to 2-1. The team fought bravely until the final whistle.

 

Hannah (4H) has shown great progress as a goalkeeper and really tried her best to keep the ball out, even though it didn't always work out. 

 

Acknowledgment goes to defenders Sophie (4S), Elisa (4P), Lola (4S), Amira (4H), Lucy (4F), and Alice (4P) for their relentless efforts to clear the ball and support the team's defensive line.

 

In attack, Bea (4H), Jessica (4H), Emily A (4H), and Marie (4P) displayed excellent teamwork and chemistry, pressing forward with determination, although luck wasn't on their side in terms of the score line.

 

Overall, the Year 4 Girls Football Team demonstrated admirable teamwork, resilience, and determination in their match against Holy Family, showcasing their potential for future success at the London Games.
