Charity Event - Ealing Food Bank

Each year pupils vote on three charities that they would like to support over the academic year.  This year the children have chosen

Local Charity - Ealing Food Bank 

National Charity - Cancer Research 

Global Charity - Worldwide Fund for Animals (WWF) 

 

Our curriculum explores being charitable and supporting our community which links with our core school value of empathy.  

 

On Monday 20th November we will be holding our first charity event of the year.  Pupils are asked to bring in an item (new not second hand) from the wish list or a donation of money.  

 

Items brought to school on Monday 20th November can be left in the labelled boxes outside the entrance to breakfast club before school. 

 

The charity are currently collecting for Christmas and we will only be able to accept items (new) from the list below. No food items please.  Pupils donating money can hand this to their class teacher on the same morning. 

 

List of items to donate 

• Toiletry gift sets - adults and children 
• Diaries, calendars and note books 
• Children's scarves, socks and gloves 
• Puzzles, colouring books and card games 
• small toys for children and young people 

 

We will only be able to receive items before school on Monday 20th November as these items will then be taken to the charity's warehouse shortly after.
