Parents may nominate themselves or another parent using this form.

Parent governors hold the post for up to 4 years.

For our new parent governors, the Board is keen to find parents who have:

• a willingness to commit to a voluntary role, including undertaking training, which may match thoughts about own career growth or career change.
• any strategic leadership or experience of board membership.
• no specific knowledge of schools or education is need.

Governors volunteer to commit to:

• attending 4 Board meetings each year, usually on a Monday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Meetings are face-to-face at the school.
• joining and attending a sub-committee group with up to 6 meetings each year, usually in the morning from 8am to 10am. Meetings are face-to-face at the school or by video conference.
• visiting and meeting leaders in school, 3 times a year for a couple of hours.

To keep a diversity of perspectives, we welcome applications from suitably experienced and interested people who reflect the rich, varied and diverse backgrounds of our school community.
