🐾 Dogs at drop-off and pick-up

We know that dogs are a much-loved part of many families. However, we also understand that not all children feel the same way, while some pupils are excited to see a furry friend at the school gate, others may feel anxious or frightened.

To help keep our school environment calm, safe, and welcoming for everyone, we kindly ask parents and carers to follow this guidance:

  • Best Option: Please leave dogs at home whenever possible. This helps us avoid any distress for pupils who are nervous around animals.
  • If you must bring your dog: Please carry them in your arms and keep them under tight control at all times. This ensures they remain close to you and away from busy pathways and children.
