Supporting the Charity-Ealing Food Bank

Each year, our children select three charities to support: one local, one national, and one global. Throughout the school year, we hold events to raise awareness and funds for each of these causes.

Our first charity event of the year will take place on Tuesday 18th November, in support of our chosen local charity – Ealing Foodbank.

In the lead-up to the event, children will be learning about the importance of giving and how supporting charities links to our school's value of empathy through their Inner Curriculum lessons.

To support Ealing Foodbank, we are inviting families to contribute in one of two ways:

  • A small monetary donation on the day (suggested amount: £1), or

  • An item from the list below.

👉 Children who have donated are invited to wear non-school uniform on Tuesday 18th November.

Donation items:

  • Selection boxes

  • Savoury biscuit selections

  • Boxes of chocolates or sweets

  • Toiletry gift sets (for adults or children)

  • Diaries, calendars, and notebooks

  • New children’s scarves, socks, or gloves

  • New puzzles, colouring books, or card games

  • New small toys for children

Donation boxes will be available near the Breakfast Club entrance on the morning of Tuesday 18th November. Please note, we cannot accept items after 9:00am, as all donations will be delivered directly to Ealing Foodbank that morning.

We are also looking for three parent volunteers who could help transport donations to the Foodbank in Hanwell between 9:30am and 10:30am on that Tuesday. Volunteers will need their own vehicle. If you are able to help, please email the school via Admin and we will be in touch.

Thank you for helping us make a difference in our local community.
