Recently, a group of Year 5/6 pupils took part in an exciting Gymnastics Festival, and what a fantastic day it was! For some of the children, it was their very first time representing the school, and they approached each event with brilliant enthusiasm and confidence. 

At each station, sports leaders and coaches guided the children through tasks such as, beam balances, shaped rolls, endurance and flexibility challenges. It was fantastic to see our pupils focus on maintaining strong body tension whilst demonstrating resilience as they moved between increasingly challenging activities. 

At the end of the event, each coach had the difficult task of choosing just one pupil from each school to receive a special medal for outstanding achievement participation. Congratulations to Tobias R (5P) who was selected for this honour. 

Well done to all pupils who represented the school with such positivity, effort and team spirit!
