The Year 5/6 Girls Development Football Team got their league campaign underway, carrying the confidence of their recent third-place finish into this new challenge. Across five matches, the girls secured two wins, two draws and only one defeat by a single-goal. An encouraging return that reflected both their hard work and growing team cohesion.

A standout moment was their deserved 2-1 victory over the reigning champions from the previous competition!

With momentum on their side and plenty of positives to build on, the team now look ahead to Round 2 of the tournament in January 2026, ready to continue their progress and push for even greater success.
