Summer term assessments, annual reports & parent consultation meetings
During this term, children in Years 1, 4 and 6 will be taking part in national tests.
Year 2 will be taking part in optional national tests.

Our time table for these national assessments is:
- wc 12th May, Year 6 assessments (SATS),
- wc 19th May, Year 2 assessments (optional assessments to support teacher judgements)
- wc 9th June, Year 1 phonics check (and Year 2 retakes)
- wc 9th June, Year 4 multiplication check,
Outcomes of these assessments will be published to parents alongside the annual report, on MCAS on 16th July.
Children in Years 1, 3, 4 and 5 will be completing their second round of NFER tests for reading, grammar and mathematics during wc 9th and 16th June.
Throughout the term teachers in all year groups will also be assessing your child's writing skills and knowledge.
Teachers in Reception and Nursery continue to work with children daily to find out what they know and remember.
Parent consultation meetings to discuss your child's year will take place on:
- 14, 15, 16 July Nursery Dragonflies
- 17,18 July, Ladybirds
- 17 and 21 July - Years Reception to Year 5
- 21 July only for Year 6 (no appointments, drop in)
