Outcomes of pupil assessments now available on MCAS.

Outcomes have been published on MCAS (My Child At School).

(Please note, if your child takes part in one of our 'Bedrock' interventions - due to the way our database is set up, their assessment outcomes are not yet showing in MCAS, our tech team are working on this).

To view results:

  • Log in to MCAS.
  • Click Assessment in the left-hand menu or select ‘More’ from the  assessment pod on the dashboard.

How do we measure attainment and progress?
  •  Attainment descriptors used:
    • Well below (SS below 85)
    • Below (SS 85–94)
    • At expected (SS 95–115) most pupils will be at this level
    • Above expected (SS 116+)

SS=Standardised Score, 100 is 'average' for age

  • Progress is shown as:
    • ' Below' less than expected
    • ' At' expected
    • ' Above' more than expected

Progress is measured from the end of the previous key-stage (End of Reception, or end of Year 2)
