Our Year 5/6 Girls Emerging Football team recently played their very first friendly match against Holy Family, showing great determination and teamwork throughout the game. 

The first half saw the team keep a well- deserved clean sheet. Despite a 3-0 scoreline by full-time, the second half highlighted the team’s growing confidence and resilience. Our goalkeeper Ava (6S) produced a series of impressive saves, earning well- deserved praise, while the rest of the team continued to battle bravely until the final whistle. 

This match provided a fantastic learning opportunity and plenty to be proud of as the team continues to develop. Well done!
