🎶 Music News – February Highlights🎶

What wonderful music happened in February?

Six of our fantastic musicians were nominated by their teachers to take part in EMS’s annual Big Band/Orchestra “Doo Dah Daht” Concert. The children attended a workshop at Villiers High School – who were incredibly welcoming! The session was led by Sam Eastmond (composer and conductor), alongside talented musicians from Villiers High School.

Our children were the youngest in the room, yet they focused beautifully and played with real professionalism.

The final concert at The Questors, Ealing, was nothing short of spectacular. Every child performed with poise, confidence, and musicality – we were all extremely proud.

A huge thank you to EMS, Villiers High School and to our wonderful parents for supporting these brilliant musical experiences.

Congratulations to our performers:

  • Elyas (Year 5) – Saxophone 🎷 (performed a solo!)
  • Tobias C (Year 5) – Trombone 🎺
  • Tobias R (Year 5) – French Horn 📯 (performed a solo!)
