Fielding pupils are more active than most children in Ealing. Many take part in sports clubs, enjoy playing outside, and travel actively to school. Our pupils walk, cycle or scooter more often than others locally, and most say they go outside to play or do sport every week. Swimming levels are also higher than average, helping children build confidence and stay safe around water. These positive habits support healthy bodies, strong mental wellbeing and readiness to learn. At Fielding, being active is part of daily school life, and we are proud of how many children take part so enthusiastically.
Physical activity is a standout success story. Pupils at Fielding are moving more, taking part in more sport, and travelling to school more actively than pupils across Ealing. Every 2 years, pupils in year 4 and year 6 take part in Ealing's health related behaviour survey.
What the data shows
What this means for our pupils
Regular activity improves mood, resilience and attention in the classroom. It also supports healthy lifelong habits.
How we’ll keep improving
Many thanks to all families.
