Travel survey

Most pupils travel to school by walking, scootering or cycling with park and stride more than doubling this year.

94% of pupils travel to school in a sustainable way according to our hands-up travel survey this week:

  • many pupils walk to school (60%)
  • more than 4 out of 5 pupils walk, scooter or cycle to school (82%)
  • 3% of pupils travel to school by car.

The number of pupils who park and stride (travel to school by car, park away from the school and walk the remainder of their journey) has more than doubled this year from 47 (5%) to 103 (12%).

Thanks to all families and pupils who travel to school in a sustainable way.
