Values Newsletter - May 2026

We are delighted to share the May edition of our Values Newsletter, created by our dedicated Year 6 Values Champions.

The purpose of the Values Newsletter is to continue raising the profile of values‑based living, values in action, across our school, led and shaped by the children themselves. Each month, the newsletter will highlight the school’s chosen value for KS1 and KS2. This month, our focus is Respect. Inside, you will find ideas, reflections, and practical suggestions to help bring this value to life both in school and at home. A special section is also included to support families in exploring Respect together.

These newsletters will sit alongside our existing values posters and classroom resources, enriching lessons and offering further opportunities for children to reflect on what our values look like in everyday practice.

We are especially excited that this edition is the third to include the children nominated for our Ripples of Kindness initiative. Thank you to all parents and carers who nominated their children. It was heart‑warming to read about the thoughtful and generous acts of kindness that took place throughout April.

The Ripples of Kindness initiative will continue throughout May. If you notice your child demonstrating kindness this month, we would love to hear about it. Follow the link provided for further instructions. All nominated children will be celebrated in the next edition of the newsletter and through our Values assemblies.
