Each year, our pupils select three charities to support: one local, one national, and one global, allowing us to make a positive impact at multiple levels. For details on how our pupils select these charities, please see here.
Our first charity event of the year will take place on Monday, 18th November, where we’ll be raising funds for The Log Cabin, a local charity that provides essential after-school, weekend, and holiday programs for children with disabilities and additional needs.
Through our Inner Curriculum lessons, pupils will explore the importance of charitable giving and how it connects to our core value of empathy. They will learn more about The Log Cabin’s work and the positive difference it makes in the lives of local families.
To support this cause, we kindly ask each family to contribute a small donation on Monday, 18th November (suggested amount: £1). In class, pupils will work together to “cover” a picture of a log cabin with their donations—a fun and visual way to show the impact of their collective generosity. All proceeds will go directly to The Log Cabin to support their vital work.
Thank you for joining us in nurturing empathy and community support within our school.
