Supportive Action for Families in Ealing (Ealing SAFE Team)

The SAFE team provides Early Help and support for children, young people and families in Ealing when difficulties arise and extra help may be needed. SAFE works with families early, to prevent challenges from escalating and to build on strengths within the family and community.

SAFE offers short‑term, tailored support for a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Children’s behaviour, emotional wellbeing or mental health
  • Parenting support and family relationships
  • Difficult life events or changes at home
  • Teenagers at risk of poor outcomes
  • Support with stress, finances, substance misuse or relationship difficulties

The team is multi‑disciplinary, including family practitioners, social workers, counsellors, psychologists, education professionals and youth workers. SAFE works in partnership with parents, schools and other services and can help families access additional local support where needed.

Families can self‑refer or be referred by a professional through Ealing’s Children’s Integrated Response Service (ECIRS).
