Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities

Local Offer (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities – SEND)

The Local Offer sets out clear, accessible information about the support and services available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) from birth to age 25. It brings together details about education, health and social care provision in one place, helping parents, carers and young people understand what help is available, how to access it, and what to expect. The Local Offer is designed to support informed choices, promote inclusion, and ensure families know where to go for advice, support and guidance at every stage of their SEND journey.

Newbold Hope - children who hurt

Supporting parents and professionals to reduce violent, difficult and dangerous behaviour in children and young people with a disability and/or an additional need.

Are you worried about a child's difficult and dangerous behaviour? Does your child sometimes become violent towards others?  Do the rest of the family sometimes get hurt?  Newbold Hope is entirely run by parents who have been through this with their own child and our whole approach is based on what we know has already worked successfully in our own families and in thousands of others.

Ealing Parent & Carer Forum

The Ealing Parent & Carer Forum (EPCF) was set up to give local parents a voice in planning and delivering services to children with disabilities/additional needs.

If you care for a child or young adult with additional needs in education, health or social care the EPCF is for you. They work to ensure Ealing Council, local health and other service providers understand what children and young adults really need to deliver the support that is so essential to their development.
